In 1994, with extensive manufacturing experience, Allen Drost Jr., founded CAD/ CAM Solutions, Inc.

In 1996, Steve Landkamer came on board bringing more than 10 years of computer hardware and software knowledge, with a concentrated knowledge in networking and communications. Steve is our also post processing and DNC expert.  He imparts his extensive knowledge to Mastercam users by teaching our 2D Mill, Design/Solids, and Wire classes throughout the year.

Brian Kadow joined us in 2011 and brings 18+ years of CNC Lathe and Milling expertise with a focus on Solidworks.   Brian’s machining background and shop experience allows him a thorough understanding of what Mastercam programmers encounter on a daily basis.  Not only does this knowledge help him relate to customers in need of technical support or software solutions, it also has helped him become a first-rate instructor.  His curriculum includes Lathe, Advanced Lathe, 3D Mill, and Advanced Milling (Multiaxis).

Brandi Geier, an accomplished graduate of the University of Georgia, came on board in October of 2012.  In addition to working with the team to identify and address each customer’s business needs and expectations, she also develops marketing events, arranges user group seminars, schedules training classes, and tailors the communication materials for use across multiple online platforms to help grow the business and share meaningful information with Mastercam’s distinct clientele.

In October of 2019, Allen Drost Jr. retired and relinquished the business to his long-time colleagues, Steve Landkamer and Brian Kadow.  CAD/CAM Solutions, Inc. will proudly continue to serve the Southeastern manufacturing community under their knowledge and leadership for years to come.

Jacob Doster joined our team in May of 2020. He has been using Mastercam for nearly a decade and has several years of experience in both the aerospace and medical industries. His working knowledge of production manufacturing as well as prototype and R&D environments gives him a diverse understanding of complex machining techniques and strategies.

Justin Netherton became a CAD/CAM Solutions team member in April 2022. He brought with him just over 18 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, along with over 10 years of CNC programming experience. He has been a Mastercam user for over 7 of those years. His primary focus thus far has been with 2 ½ axis CNC mills and 5 axis CNC mills. Justin has held positions such as team lead, foreman, and lead programmer, giving him valuable experience training coworkers in a production and job shop environment. He, especially, finds joy in helping others achieve their career goals, and helping lead them toward sustained success.

Our team looks forward to serving you.

Mastercam is the only CAD/CAM system I have found that is both easy to learn and fast for creating and editing manufacturing data. Our dealer continually amazes us with their professionalism and willingness to work with our schedule. They truly know Mastercam and how it applies in a real shop environment.

Attended courses at this facility twice within a 2 year period. Instructors are well versed in what’s being taught. Small classes with the freedom to work on your own shops challenges on the last day of training is a great way to be able to go through the software’s advantages in regards to everyday programming. Good instructors, beautiful little city and that they are a wonderful host at lunch time makes this establishment 5 out 5 stars in my opinion.
